He then attended Suffolk University Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor with distinction in 2015, maintaining a particular focus on business law. In recognition for his selfless service to his community, he received the President's Volunteer Service Award.

Mr. Schlager is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit. He is also an active member of the American Bar Association, where he serves as vice chair of the Young Lawyers Division's Real Property, Trust and Estates Committee.
